A Major Disappointment

Recrear escenas con LEGO es un arte a medio camino entre construir con LEGO y dibujar comic. Tienes que ser capaz de contar una historia en una sola viñeta, muchas veces sin palabras, basándolo todo en la expresividad de las caras y la composición de la escena. Gracias a la gran variedad de expresiones que LEGO ha añadido a sus minifig desde que dejó de usar la cara sonriente exclusivamente, toda esta tarea es un poco más fácil. Aun así, escenas como esta de Aaron Newman son una delicia. La composición, los personajes, la calidad visual,...  no necesitas palabras, ni siquiera título.

Recreating scenes with LEGO is an art halfway between building with LEGO and drawing comic. You have to be able to tell a story in a single vignette, often without words, basing everything on the expressiveness of the faces and the composition of the scene. Thanks to the great variety of expressions that LEGO has added to their minifig since they stopped using the smiling face exclusively, all this task is a little easier. Even so, scenes like this one by Aaron Newman are delightful. The composition, the characters, the visual quality, ... it doesn’t need words, not even a title.
