Bubble Bobble

Fue en 1986 cuando Taito sacó al mercado el videojuego Bubble Bobble. Los protagonistas, dos pequeños dragones, debían avanzar a lo largo de 110 niveles para vencer a Super Drunk y liberar a sus amadas novias. Los hermanos arvo realizaron hace ya alrededor de 10 años, una primera versión de los protagonistas.

Muchas veces uno se ve tentado de revisitar alguno de sus MOCS, bien por la aparición de nuevas piezas, bien por una idea que surge en tu cabeza y que resuelve de una forma más elegante ese detalle de tu creación que no te gustaba. Los arvo, más que modernizar sus dragones, los han creado de nuevo. Más gorditos, más bonitos, más cucos, mejores.

It was in 1986 when Taito released the video game Bubble Bobble. The protagonists, two small dragons, had to advance along 110 levels to defeat Super Drunk and free his beloved girlfriends. The arvo brothers made about 10 years ago, a first version of the protagonists.

Many times one is tempted to revisit some of his old MOCS, either by the release of new parts, or by an idea that arises in your head and that resolves in a more elegant way, that detail of your creation that you didn´t like. The arvo brothers, rather than modernizing their dragons, have created them again. More chubby, more beautiful, cuter, better.
